THE COLLEGE CREST

                              The College adopted its crest and motto in 1942. The five scallop

                              shells on the inverted chefron signify that we are pilgrims and

                              seekers and that we do not seel alone but n fellowship. They are

                              also a link with the past, for they figured in the crest of the Wesley’s

                              and the present Meston College has grown out of a school founded

                              by the Weslyan Mission in 1851. The main symbols, the book and

                              the lamps remind us that knowledge like light when shared with

                              others iluminate ourselves. QUI DAT ACCIPIT – And so we recall

                              the words of the prayer constantly used in our College Celebrations,

                              it is in giving that we receive ; it is in pardoning that we are pardoned;

                              it is in dying to self that we are born to eternal life
