The Meston College of Education, founded by early Missionary Pioneers in 1937, is governed by the Meston Education and Development Association. It grew from Wesley College — a pioneering arts institution operating from 1861 to 1933.
Affiliated to Tamil Nadu Teachers Education University, recognised by NCTE, and aided by the State Government, the college conducts Ph.D., M.Phil., M.Ed., and B.Ed. programmes while actively engaging in welfare, community activities, and educational extension work.
