Eligibility Criteria for admission:

Ph.D. (Full Time / Part Time) Degree course

A candidate who has qualified for the Master's Degree in Education or M.Phil. Degree in Education under the regulations of the TamilNadu Teachers Education University or any other University recognised by the TamilNadu Teachers Education University as equivalent thereto is eligible to register for Ph.D. course. The rules and regulations for registering for Ph.D. are given in the regulations of the TamilNadu Teachers Education University.

M.Phil. (Full Time / Part Time) Degree Course

A candidate who has qualified for the Master Degree in Education from any University recognized by the TamilNadu Teachers Education University.

M.Ed. degree Course

A candidate who holds B.Ed. degree from any University recognized by the TamilNadu Teachers Education University.

B.Ed. Degree Course

A candidate who holds B.A. or B.Sc. degree from any University recognized by the TamilNadu Teachers Education University.

    • For all the above courses, Reservation of seats and other concessions for the various communities and special categories will be in accordance with the statutory provisions of the Government of TamilNadu in force from time to time.
    • There is no upper age limit for admission to the above programmes.

The College is a Christian minority institution, 50% of seats are filled through counselling and the remaining seats are filled up by the College Management.

The counselling is done as per the norms of the Directorate of Collegiate Education and the reservation of seats for various categories are as per the Government norms.

    M.Ed. (As per Government Norms)
The College is a Christian minority institution, 50% of the seats are on the basis of merit and the reservation of seats for various categories are as per the Government norms.
The remaining seats are filled up by the College Management.
M.Phil. & Ph.D. (As per Government Norms)
Admission as per the requirement of TamilNadu Teachers Education University and the Government of TamilNadu.
PRACTICUM COMPONENT
      • Internship and Teaching Practice The practice teaching will have to be undergone in a recognised high / higher secondary / matriculation / matriculation higher secondary or senior secondary school. The duration of the internship will be 40 working days
      • School based and Community based activities.
      • Submission of Records / Reports pertaining to all activities under practicum
